This excitement grew once i began playing it. As a grown arse adult i can hear many a person out there calling me a huge kid and quite frankly...i am and you can deal with it.
Fantasy Life has all the aspects of Final Fantasy and Harvest Moon, all mixed together in one amazingly thought out game. you can pick and switch between different job types like Cook where you learn to forage for food so you can make top of the range dishes, you can make your own armour and clothing with the tailor and black-smithing job classes and you can even be a fisherman....okay maybe not all the classes are that great but as a whole the job classes reminded me of the early days of Final Fantasy and the feel of the game at times is the exact same feel you get while building you farm on Harvest Moon.
The quests are fun, and when you have played the game for a decent amount of time you will be able to visit other villages, towns and cities so the game is so much bigger than the before mentioned Harvest Moon games.
The one slight niggle is that th games
dialogue and character naming is a little
juvenile and is better suit to a game that is played by younger plays, and this is a shame as the game is really for an older age group (i.e early teens) really.
If you love the SNES days of Final Fantasy and the cute everyday living style of Harvest Moon then you will LOVE this game. A great gift for Christmas too.
